Welcome to Ushant Island

You will find listed below useful information for organizing your stay on the island :

Booking  -  Before coming to Ushant be sure and book your lodgings, especially in the high season. (section : where to stay on Ushant) You must also be sure and book your passage on the boat or the plane. ( section : how to get to Ushant)

Arrivals The boat docks in Stiff Harbour on the eastern coast of the island where transport  to  the main village, Lampaul, and  bicycle hire are  immediately available on the quay.

Cashpoints are to be found in the SPAR and  8 to 8 groceries in Lampaul ( closed on sunday afternoons )

If eating out, don’t forget to book the restaurant of your choice.
Remember also that the shops close on sundays around 12h30.

Things to do during your stay (local history museums, sailing, diving, horseriding….etc) : section Activities. If you seek entertainment you may go to the various concerts and shows of all sorts organized throughout the season, take a guided tour, etc. You will find all the necessary information in sections : Sport and Leisure, Festivals and Traditions, Music, Exhibitions.
