Visite du Phare du Stiff

Depuis début juillet, le phare du Stiff est ouvert au public. Jean Fanch Déniel est heureux de vous accueillir lors de votre ascension au phare par les 104 marches à gravir.
Le phare sera ouvert pendant les vacances scolaires de février, du 13 au 28 février 2010.
Les visites se font toutes les 1/2 heures de 14h à 17h par groupes de 15 personnes au maximum.

Temporary exhibitions in the Lighthouse Museum

In addition to the permanent exhibition on the history of Maritime Lights, the Lighthouse Museum is also showing an exhibition "Ushant through the ages" which retraces twenty years of the archeological dig at Mez Notariou.
Since march of this year a replica of the Ar Men lighthouse keeper's room can also be seen.
   

Guided tour of Maritime Lights

 The Lighthouse Museum organises guided walks on the

 theme of Maritime Lights.

Booking may be made at the museum itself or by telephone.

There is a maximum of 20 persons per walk.

The walks set out from the museum at 14HOO.

Tariff : 3.20€, no charge for under 16’s

Annual Sheep Fair

Traditionnally the Sheep Fair is held on the first  wednesday of February every year, just before springtime and the lambing season.

Sea trips on the lifeboat

The former island lifeboat "Patron François Morin" proposes sea trips around the island during the summer months. Membership of the conservation committee is encouraged as this helps to pay for upkeep. Membership enables you to go on sea trips on board the François Morin, including
  • the Jument and Nividic Lighthouses
  • full trip around the island

The sea trips are scheduled for tuesdays and thursdays, weather permitting.
Trips must be reserved for a minimum of six persons and a maximum of 12.
Further information may be obtained at the Tourist Office.

13 to 17 April : Breton language course
